Today I was doing some laundry and I came across a big cockroach on the floor. I caught it and lobbed it into Blackie's web. Usually the cockroaches wriggle out, and I think the spiders are a bit hesitant to have a go at something that big. Today, however, Blackie was very keen, perhaps due to the onset of Autumn.
