Went out on strike today and attended the union meeting & demonstration in the city, with a reasonable number of the balrogs from Mt Doom S.C. Was quite a neat experience really, with a slight sense of doing something a bit naughty, as well as being part of something which is trying to make something better, in this case Victoria's screwed up education system. I'm actually a bit ambivalent about a lot of unions, they seem to be interested in their members' interests and nothing more. The Australian Education Union does seem to be concerned about the education system.
That took up most of the day... got home after 4pm and quickly put up the side gate and vacced the floor before picking up Freya. She's recovered from the cold that kept her home the last couple of days, and had a good day. It was a 100% undies day - with no accidents! Very good chick.
